Katie Compton Second at World Championships

Despite an unfortunate final race weekend of the year, which led to a trip to the hospital, Katie Compton (14-time and current US Cyclocross National Champion) has some serious accomplishments to look back on from the 2017-2018 race season. Here is a brief look at some of the highlights:

-Gold Medalist — 14th consecutive — at the US Cyclocross National Championships (Reno, NV)

-Silver Medalist at the UCI Cyclocross World Championships (Valkenburg, NL)

-2017-2018 Series Winner, DVV Trofee Cup (Belgium)
*Katie was the first non-European in history to win this series

We’re so proud of Katie and her husband/mechanic Mark for putting together what was a highly memorable and successful race season. Both as fellow Americans and co-title sponsor, we at Knight Composites are so grateful for their hard work and continued product testing at the highest levels of the sport. This feedback is invaluable in helping us to develop our next iteration of the Knight Composites product line. For now, we hope Katie and Mark both enjoy some well-earned rest before ramping back into the 2018-2019 race season. The past season has only just ended, but we know KFC Racing will agree when we say we already can’t wait for that opening hole shot in a few months’ time.
